We now have an Afternoon Special. It runs all day, every day, until 6pm. We will have glasses of red, white, and sparkling wine, as well as a imported ale available for $3.50.
And believe me, they will be tasty.
Meanwhile, we have been looking for more affordable wines for everyday enjoyment. Spain remains strong, as usual, but there is now more French country wine to choose from.
What does this mean to you? Say you go to the store and buy a quick bottle of wine to go with dinner. A lot of times when you spend less than ten dollars, the wine seems pretty decent at first. It's after the first glass, though, that these wines can start to seem a little tired. Just a big mouthful of juice. Here where the soil and vines come in.
Often times, there is a certain character that builds with European wines that you just can't replicate in the New World..
They're definitely worth another look - or taste, I guess. There's only one way to find out, of course.
